This page reflects the Provider Terms currently in force on FindTastings. It is a legal document, not a final statement of every possible circumstance: it should be read alongside the general FindTastings Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Cancellation Policy.
Commercial summary
This summary is for convenience. The full Provider Terms below govern the relationship.
- FindTastings commission: 10% of your listed price.
- You receive: approximately 90% of your listed price per confirmed booking.
- Guest service fee: 6% - paid by the guest on top and never deducted from your payout.
- Free guest cancellation: up to 48 hours before the experience, unless the listing states otherwise.
- Response window for request-to-book: 1-72 hours (24 hours recommended).
Some company registration details for FindTastings ApS are still being finalised and will appear here once available.
1. Scope and parties
These Provider Terms are entered into between the professional provider accepting them (the "provider") and FindTastings ApS, a Danish private limited company with its registered office in Denmark ("FindTastings", "we", "us").
FindTastings ApS, a Danish private limited company (ApS) established in Denmark.
These terms govern the provider's use of the FindTastings marketplace to list, sell and deliver food, drink and hospitality experiences ("experiences") to guests, and apply in addition to the general FindTastings Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Cancellation Policy.
What this means in plain language
This sets out who is agreeing to what: you as the provider, and FindTastings as the marketplace operator.
2. FindTastings' role
FindTastings operates a marketplace that lists the provider's experiences, takes booking requests from guests and passes them to the provider. FindTastings is not a party to the contract for the experience itself: that contract is between the provider and the guest.
FindTastings does not host, prepare, serve or supply any food, drink or activity, and does not employ the provider's staff. Where payments are enabled, FindTastings or its payment processor collects guest payment as a limited payment collection agent for the provider and remits the provider's share as described in these terms.
What this means in plain language
FindTastings connects you with guests but is not the party delivering the experience - your contract for the experience itself is with the guest.
3. Eligibility and verification
Only a lawfully registered business able to offer the experiences it lists may become a provider. FindTastings may request evidence of business registration, licences, permits, food-safety registration and insurance before or after approval.
FindTastings may decline an application, pause a listing, or require further verification at any time where evidence is missing, inconsistent or has expired.
What this means in plain language
You need to meet FindTastings' verification requirements (business registration, licensing, etc.) before you can list experiences.
5. Legal compliance
The provider must comply with all laws applicable to its business and to each experience, including licensing, alcohol law and age verification, food safety and allergen disclosure, health and safety, employment law, and consumer protection law in the place where the experience is delivered.
The provider must hold and maintain every licence, permit and registration required for its activity, including any licence required to serve or sell alcohol, and must be able to produce evidence of these on reasonable request.
What this means in plain language
You must follow every law and licence that applies to your business, venue and activity - FindTastings does not check this for you beyond onboarding checks.
6. Listings and content
The provider must keep its listing text, photographs, prices, group sizes, ingredients and allergen information accurate, current and not misleading.
The provider keeps ownership of the content it uploads and confirms it has every right needed to publish that content on the marketplace.
What this means in plain language
Keep your listing accurate - photos, prices, allergens and group sizes must reflect reality, and you keep ownership of what you upload.
7. Availability and capacity
The provider must keep its published availability and capacity accurate and must not advertise availability, dates or group sizes it cannot honour.
Where the provider needs to reduce or close availability, it must update its calendar promptly to avoid new bookings it cannot deliver.
What this means in plain language
Only advertise dates and group sizes you can actually deliver, and keep your calendar current.
8. Booking confirmation modes
A provider may choose "instant confirmation", where a booking confirms automatically once every safety and payment check passes, or "request to book", where the provider accepts or declines each request itself.
Under request to book, the provider must respond within a chosen response window of between 1 and 72 hours (24 hours is recommended). A request that is not answered within the window lapses and is treated as declined.
What this means in plain language
Choose between instant confirmation or manually accepting each request within your response window.
9. Prices
The provider sets its own listed price per guest, inclusive of any tax the provider is required to charge. FindTastings does not set or approve the provider's prices, other than requiring them to be accurate, current and consistent with the experience described.
What this means in plain language
You decide your own prices; FindTastings only requires them to be accurate and consistent with the listing.
10. Commission and fees
FindTastings charges commission of 10% of the price the provider sets. The provider normally receives 90% of its listed price for each confirmed booking. Commission is calculated on the provider's listed price, not on any separate guest service fee.
Guests may also be charged a separate FindTastings service fee, currently 6% of the booking value. That fee belongs to FindTastings, is shown separately to the guest, and does not reduce the provider's payout.
The commission rate applying to a specific booking is the rate recorded in that booking's financial record at the time the booking was created, and does not change retroactively if the general rate later changes.
What this means in plain language
FindTastings takes a commission from your listed price; you keep the rest. There is no setup fee or subscription.
11. Payments and payouts
Where online payments are enabled, FindTastings collects guest payment through a regulated payment provider and intends to initiate the provider's payout within the target period shown in the provider's account, which may be extended for verification, refunds, disputes, complaints, banking delays or legal and compliance checks.
Until payments are enabled for a booking, no funds are collected, held or transferred through FindTastings, and any amount shown is an estimate only.
What this means in plain language
When payments are enabled, FindTastings aims to pay you out within a target window, which can be extended for checks or disputes.
12. Guest cancellation
Unless the listing states a different policy, a guest may cancel free of charge until 48 hours before the experience starts. Cancellations made after that point are governed by the Cancellation Policy and the terms shown on the listing at the time of booking.
What this means in plain language
Guests can normally cancel free of charge up until a cut-off before the experience starts.
13. Provider cancellation, changes and no-shows
The provider must honour every confirmed booking or cancel it in good time and for a genuine operational reason, telling the guest and FindTastings as soon as possible.
The provider must not change the material terms of a confirmed booking (date, time, content or price) without the guest's agreement. Repeated provider cancellations, late changes or no-shows may lead to restriction, suspension or removal under section 22.
What this means in plain language
You must honour confirmed bookings; cancelling late or without good reason repeatedly can lead to account restrictions.
14. Delivery and guest safety
The provider is solely responsible for delivering each confirmed experience as described, and for the safety of guests and staff at the venue, including risk assessment, equipment, transport it offers, and responsible service of alcohol.
The provider must hold business and public liability insurance appropriate to its activity, jurisdiction and guest numbers and must provide evidence on reasonable request.
What this means in plain language
You are responsible for guest safety, insurance and delivering the experience as described.
15. Guest communication and personal data
Guest details are shared with the provider only to the extent needed to deliver the booked experience. The provider must handle that personal data lawfully, keep it secure, use it only for the booking it relates to, and must not use it for unrelated marketing without a valid legal basis or sell or share it with third parties.
The provider must communicate with guests professionally and must not attempt to move a booking off-platform once a request has been made through FindTastings, except as permitted by section 18.
What this means in plain language
Only use guest data for the booking it relates to, keep it secure, and communicate through the platform professionally.
16. Reviews
Guests may publish reviews of completed experiences. The provider must not offer inducements for reviews, write or commission reviews of its own experiences, or attempt to remove or suppress honest reviews other than through the FindTastings reporting process for content that breaches guidelines.
What this means in plain language
Guests can leave honest reviews; you can't buy, fake or suppress them outside the normal reporting process.
17. Ranking and visibility
Search ranking and promotional visibility reflect factors such as guest ratings, response time, cancellation rate, completeness of the listing and availability, and may change as FindTastings improves the marketplace. No provider is guaranteed a particular position or level of visibility.
What this means in plain language
Where your listing appears in search depends on factors like ratings and response time - no position is guaranteed.
18. Non-exclusivity and off-platform diversion
This agreement is non-exclusive: the provider may sell the same or similar experiences through other channels. The provider must not, however, encourage a guest introduced through FindTastings to complete that specific booking, or a repeat of it, off-platform in order to avoid commission.
What this means in plain language
You can sell elsewhere too, but you can't move a guest FindTastings introduced off-platform just to avoid commission.
19. Taxes and DAC7
The provider is responsible for determining, charging, reporting and paying its own taxes, including VAT, and for issuing any invoice a guest is entitled to. FindTastings does not give tax advice.
Where required by EU Council Directive (EU) 2021/514 ("DAC7") or equivalent local law, FindTastings will collect the information needed about the provider and its transactions and report it to the relevant tax authority. The provider must supply accurate identification, address and tax information on request and keep it current, and FindTastings may restrict a listing if required information is missing.
What this means in plain language
You handle your own taxes; FindTastings may need to report certain information about you to tax authorities under DAC7.
20. Data access
FindTastings gives the provider access to the booking, guest-contact and performance data needed to run its business on the marketplace, through the provider portal and any export tools FindTastings makes available. Access may be limited to what is proportionate for the provider's role and account status.
What this means in plain language
You get access to the booking and performance data needed to run your business on the marketplace.
21. Intellectual property
The provider keeps ownership of its own text, photographs and other content and grants FindTastings a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and promote that content in connection with the marketplace, including in marketing.
The FindTastings name, logo and platform remain the property of FindTastings, and nothing here grants the provider any right to use them beyond identifying itself as a FindTastings provider.
What this means in plain language
Each side keeps its own intellectual property; you grant FindTastings the licence needed to display your listing.
22. Restriction, suspension and removal
FindTastings may restrict, pause or remove a listing, or suspend an account, immediately and without prior notice where there is a risk to guest safety, a legal or licensing problem, suspected fraud, a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or a legal or regulatory requirement to do so.
Where the risk allows, FindTastings will explain the reason and, where appropriate, a path to reinstatement. Confirmed bookings made before restriction must still be honoured or properly cancelled under section 13.
What this means in plain language
FindTastings can restrict, suspend or remove a listing or account for breaches of these terms or applicable law.
23. Provider termination
The provider may close its account and end this agreement at any time by giving FindTastings reasonable notice and honouring or properly cancelling any confirmed bookings that remain. Ending the agreement does not affect obligations that by their nature survive, including sections on liability, indemnity, data and governing law.
What this means in plain language
Either side can end this agreement; some obligations (like handling existing bookings) continue afterwards.
24. Changes to these terms
FindTastings may publish a new version of these terms. Providers are told about material commercial changes in advance, and a new version that materially changes commercial conditions requires the provider to accept it again before new experiences can be published or new payouts made.
A version already accepted for an existing booking is never silently replaced: that booking continues to be governed by the terms in force, and recorded, at the time it was created.
What this means in plain language
FindTastings can update these terms; material changes are notified and may require renewed acceptance.
25. Complaints and mediation
Complaints about the marketplace relationship should first be sent to support@findtastings.com. FindTastings will acknowledge and try to resolve a complaint in good faith before either party escalates it formally.
Where a complaint cannot be resolved directly, either party may refer it to an independent mediator before starting court proceedings, without prejudice to either party's right to go to court.
What this means in plain language
There is a process for raising complaints and, where relevant, out-of-court dispute resolution.
26. Platform availability
FindTastings aims to keep the marketplace available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, technical failure or circumstances beyond FindTastings' control may make the platform temporarily unavailable, and FindTastings is not liable for losses caused solely by such unavailability, without prejudice to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
What this means in plain language
The marketplace is provided on an 'as available' basis; occasional downtime or maintenance can occur.
27. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that mandatory applicable law says cannot be excluded.
Subject to that, FindTastings' aggregate liability to the provider arising out of or in connection with these terms is limited to the commission FindTastings received on the bookings giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before it arose.
What this means in plain language
Each side's liability to the other is limited as described, to the extent the law allows.
28. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for a failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disaster, war, civil unrest, epidemic, governmental action or failure of essential utilities or networks, provided the affected party notifies the other promptly and takes reasonable steps to mitigate the impact.
What this means in plain language
Neither side is responsible for delays or failures caused by events genuinely outside its control.
29. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Provider Terms and any dispute arising from or connected with them are governed by The laws of Denmark.
The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of The competent courts of Denmark at the place of FindTastings ApS's registered office, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or local-law protection the provider may be entitled to that cannot be excluded by agreement.
What this means in plain language
These terms are governed by a specific country's law, and disputes go to a specific court system.
